To celebrate this 100th anniversary, we've created an exceptional sensory experience: the « Quadriphonie Delicia®», a box that brings together four exceptional chocolates, including 3 new compositions that resonate with the original recipe.

Faithful to the original spirit, this new box set is a veritable symphony for the most refined palates.

Four variations

Delicia® Original

A blend of cocoas from Ghana & Brazil 72%. It opens with beautiful primary cocoa notes supported by delicate acidity, evolving towards a woody bouquet, then notes of licorice and black tea.

Delicia® Sugar Free

Grand cru of Peruvian cocoa 80%; this chocolate made from Trinitario beans, grown naturally in the San Martin region, reveals spicy notes of cinnamon, badian and Tonka beans, softened by a natural sweetener derived from birch bark.

Delicia® Milk

Madagascar cocoa 60%; this milk chocolate offers an exceptional chocolate flavor thanks to the Criollo and Trinitario cocoas grown in the Sambirano river valley, renowned for its exceptional flora. Its typical red fruit notes are accompanied by a pleasant acidity.

Delicia® Grand Cru

Grand cru of Colombian cocoa 75%. Made from Criollo and Trinitario cocoa grown in the exceptional Guaviare terroir, this chocolate offers notes of milk jam supported by a light orange fragrance.

Delicia®

In 1923, Louis Palomas wanted to bring the finest cocoa vintages to even the most demanding dark chocolate connoisseurs. To enhance taste and make tasting easier, he invented Delicia®. The Delicia® is an extra-fine puck of 72% dark chocolate from the Grands Crus of Ghana and Brazil. Its round shape and finesse encourage the expression of flavors on the taste buds and palate, while exuding the richness of the flavors of the great cocoa origins. On the attack, it offers beautiful primary cocoa notes supported by discreet acidity, evolving towards a woody bouquet, fading into a lingering licorice and black tea finish.

At just two grams in weight and 53 millimeters in diameter, it requires the utmost care and attention during its production. Even today, each Delicia® is shaped by hand in the Lyon workshop under the direction of Dominique Clerc, who, like a goldsmith, applies his experience as a Maitre Artisan to perfect this jewel of haute chocolaterie. The delicate handcrafted gesture, handed down and repeated for a century, marks each Delicia® with a unique imprint. The brand is registered, as is the Maison Palomas® icon, the Palet de Fourvière®. Both reflect the Palomas philosophy that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

Our Advice

« Delicia » can be enjoyed at any time of the day, at temperatures below 20°C. Pair with coffee, tea or a glass of Madeira or port.
